Tattoos on lips
Posted: 09-Jan-2008 | Category: Pictures CommentsThese are photos of custom tattoos, but before you go to the next Tattoo shop and want to get a tattoo on your lips think about this: Lips are tricky and the tattoo will fade in time due to the acids in the mouth. Plus be aware that this form of tattoo is very painful.
i think that having a tattoo in your mouth is pointless and sick if you are never gonna see it you should just get it removed i mean come on it is gross enough as it is no one in the world has had their lip pierced and well maybe they have but if it said bitch on it would you want to kiss your girlfriend after that or would you think that your girlfriend would think that that meant that she was a bitch that is my opinion on lip tattoos
and after you get your lip all tattood you are gonna have it all like swollen and stuff like that and you don’t want a puffy lip the night you have to see your boyfriend or girlfriend do you?

When I first got my lower lip tattooed it was like nothing happened, I was able to go out do, eat, drink anything. I had mine for about 5 years and 8 months. Within the last 8 months I became allergic to it, and it would get small blisters, bumps everywhere, it would turn red and form open wounds, and it even made my gum line recede on my bottom front teeth. 3 days ago I had it surgically removed by cutting it out….. My GOD! Now THAT was WAY more painful than a hundred tattoos. Talking, eating, even working and moving hurt the hell outta it. It’s gonna take 2 to 3 weeks to heal completely. I even got 5 stitches where the Oral Surgeon had to dig deep to cut some ink out of some saliva glands. It is VERY uncommon that someone gets an allergic reaction from black ink, especially 5 years after getting it done, but it still can happen. These tattoos are suppose to be temporary lasting 5 or 6 months to maybe 2 years. My tattoo artist is very good at what he does, and there really is no way of knowing what can happen in the future to these types of tattoos. But they are fun to have! I don’t want to talk anyone out of getting one, I’m just sharing my story.
