Small house on wheels
Posted: 08-Jan-2008 | Category: Pictures CommentsThis is the home of Jay Shafer, founder of the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company, in Sebastopol, California. Jay’s home is a 100 square-foot cottage that includes a desk and sitting area, a kitchen, a bathroom, a sleeping loft, and a front porch. Jay’s house is also mounted on wheels, in part because that allows him to quickly and easily relocate whenever he can find a more attractive place to live. The wheels also allow him to bypass various building codes which are largely designed with much larger dwellings in mind.

You screwed up by putting politics first, Obama adv.
Hey-I’ve seen these small homes before. Would be easy to replicate as I’ve been a carpenter all my life. Just wondering what the specs are on the trailer? With many people loosing their homes, this may help resolve some of the burden.
This is something that I would think about getting into. Maybe have those who are interested in purchasing the tandem then prefabbing the cabin. Love the interior design.
Hello,
Where can I buy such kind of houses and how much do they cost?
Thank you,
Yaroslav
Am interested in building one myself and/or purchasing the finished product. Can you please send some info asap. Thanks.
