Following the SEMA unveiling last week of the Pratt & Miller built E85 powered 600hp Corvette C6RS which was commissioned by American talk show host and die hard car enthusiast Jay Leno, Pratt & Miller soon afterwards announced they will produce a limited edition Corvette C6RS. Available in April 2008 the C6RS is based on Pratt & Miller’s Le Mans-winning Corvette C6.R race cars including a Katech built 8.2-liter (500ci) all-aluminum small-block V-8 engine producing 600 hp and 600 ft.-lbs of torque, full carbon fiber body shell and outer panels, computer-controlled adjustable suspension, Brembo mono block brakes, center-nut forged aluminum BBS wheels with Michelin tires and two-tone leather interior.
Pratt & Miller make no mention whether the limited edition C6RS will be E85 biofuel powered like Jay Leno’s SEMA car, but surely, if the price is right, it can be done.
